Accounts and information on your device

Pentaline does not require a Pentaline account or an email address to play. Optional player names label players during a match. Active local and AI matches, including their player labels and game state, are saved on your device so you can resume them. The saved-match slot is cleared when a completed match is saved or when you discard the saved match.

The app also stores settings, game progress, achievements and selected themes locally. Purchase entitlements may include a purchase token and unlock timestamp. These records support game features and restoring access to purchases; rewarded theme previews are temporary and kept for the app session.

Advertising

Pentaline uses Google AdMob. It supports optional rewarded video ads for temporary cosmetic-theme previews and interstitial ads between matches. Interstitials may appear when leaving a completed match; not every ad requires you to choose to watch a rewarded video.

Google's advertising SDK may collect and share IP addresses (which can indicate approximate location), device or advertising identifiers, app and ad interactions, and diagnostic information. Google uses this information for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. Data handling depends on the SDK, available consent signals and ad configuration. Privacy choices

If a Google consent message is displayed, use its controls to review the available choices about advertising data. You can also manage or delete your Android advertising ID through your device's advertising privacy settings. These device settings do not necessarily stop all ads or all advertising-related data processing.

Purchases

Where offered, premium cosmetic purchases are processed through Google Play Billing. The app uses purchase status and purchase tokens to unlock and restore content. Payment-card details are handled by Google Play, not entered into Pentaline. Google's policies govern its transaction records.

Online play

Where online multiplayer is available in your app version, your device connects to a relay service to exchange room and match information with other players. This includes room codes, player labels, moves and game state. Network services receive your IP address as part of the connection. Avoid using personal or sensitive information as a player name. Online features may be unavailable in some releases.

Permissions and service providers

Pentaline does not ask for access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone or precise device location to play. Advertising services may still infer approximate location from an IP address. Google provides advertising and purchase services, and hosting services support the website and online features. Their processing is also subject to their own privacy terms.

Retention and deletion

Local settings and progress remain until cleared or replaced. You can remove local app data using Android's app-storage controls; doing so also removes saved games and local preferences. This does not delete transaction or advertising records held independently by Google. For those records, use Google's privacy controls or contact Google. If you email us, we receive your address and the information you include so we can respond. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information we hold about you.

Children's privacy

Pentaline is not directed at children under 13. Please contact us if you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us so we can investigate and address the request.

Changes and contact

We will update this page and its date when our practices change. An update to this policy does not replace any consent that must be obtained separately.
